Founded in 1966, Taisei Lamick set out to transform the way we consume take-out food and ready-made meals by prioritizing freshness and convenience. In the late 1980s, we developed XA, our exclusive high-speed liquid filling film. However, no existing filling machine could fully unlock its potential. Determined to overcome this challenge, we partnered with Nihon Seiki, a major automotive component supplier, to jointly develop the groundbreaking DANGAN filling machine.

The combination of DANGAN and XA delivered unparalleled performance, enabling packaging producers to achieve four times the speed and superior quality compared to conventional machines. This innovation, aligned with the rapid rise of convenience stores and the growing demand for single-serving meals, solidified Taisei Lamick’s position as a leader in small pouch packaging solutions. In 2003, we proudly earned a listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section.

Expanding globally, we established Taisei Lamick USA, Inc. in 2011, bringing our high-quality films and machinery to the North American market. To meet increasing demand, we launched our LA branch in 2016 and the NJ Branch in 2022, marking the beginning of film production in the U.S. to better serve the U.S. packaging industry.

Today, with over 200 DANGAN machines operating across the United States alone, Taisei Lamick continues to deliver cutting-edge packaging solutions to customers worldwide.
